Helping also means listening!
Our volunteers came to help an isolated family: 9 children, including a baby, and 2 courageous adults. Behind this family are two widowed mothers and a child with dementia.
Offering help is not limited to material donations: it's also listening, understanding and sharing a little hope. Together, we brought support, comfort and dignity.
This intervention allowed the family to regain a minimum of stability and security, while providing essential moral support. The children benefited from a calmer environment, and the mothers felt they were not alone in their daily struggle.
